Telecom Veteran Joins SkyPort to Lead Team; Klotz Appointed CEO as Company Prepares to Launch Teleport

HOUSTON, Aug. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- SkyPort International, Inc., a provider of advanced, secure broadband IP, voice, video and data transport communications, has appointed telecommunications leader Roger L. Klotz as Chief Executive Officer for the company and its parent company, SkyComm Technologies Corporation.

Klotz will lead the company as it prepares to launch its first teleport hub in the Houston area serving the energy industry, specifically those in oil and gas exploration, production, energy management, and power distribution. SkyPort will also provide services for various companies involved in related energy support initiatives, government and defense organizations, healthcare and educational institutions.

With over 30 years experience in communications, Klotz spent almost 20 years with Nortel Networks in various general management and senior executive positions with global P&L responsibility, in both Enterprise Networks and Broadband Carrier Networks.
